Ensure instrument stems are in the same file as the loop!

To export your loop and stems correctly, place each individual instrument/element after the initial loop. Make sure that each stem is played in isolation of any other instruments/elements. Producers can then start working directly with your loops without asking again about the stems. This streamlines the creative process and leads to them being more likely to use your loop!

ADD THE STEMS

Exporting loops with stems can be done in a few simple steps in most Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). Here's a quick guide on how to export loops in the following DAWs.

FL STUDIO

• Set the correct start and end points for the loop you want to export.
• Go to: File > Export > Audio > WAV (CTRL + R).
• Select the "Cut remainder" option to trim any silence or audio data that may exist after the end of the loop.
• Click "Export" and save the file to your desired location.

ABLETON LIVE

• Adjust the markers to the desired start and end points of the loop.
• Go to: File > Export Audio (CTRL + SHIFT + R).
• Select the "Cut remainder" option to trim any silence or audio data that may exist after the end of the loop.
• Click "Export" and save the file to your desired location.
